Phil Gordon   Founder and CEO

Phil GordonSuccessful entrepreneur, celebrity, and poker professional, Phil Gordon is the company visionary, leader, and spokesman. To many, he is best known as host of Bravo’s hit television show, Celebrity Poker Showdown or as author of two top-selling books: Poker: The Real Deal (2004) and Phil Gordon’s Little Green Book (2005). As a poker player, he is a two-time World Poker Tour champion has five final table appearances at the World Series of Poker, including a fourth place finish in the Championship Event in 2001. Phil is generally recognized as one of the top pundits and teachers in the world of poker.

As a businessman, Phil has been involved in numerous successful ventures, most notably being the first employee at NETSYS Technologies, a company acquired by Cisco Systems in 1997 for 95 million dollars. After attending Georgia Tech at the age of 15, Phil worked as a computer engineer and on Artificial Intelligence. Throughout his career, he has consistently applied his deep knowledge of technology and the web to his natural leadership and business abilities. He is a charismatic visionary and philanthropist with an extensive network of friends and personal contacts in Sports, Business, Hollywood, and Politics. His unique stature is instrumental in allowing access to the biggest name Experts in every field. Phil is ideally suited to lead Expert Insight and bring the company’s vision to the masses.

Michael Keller  Chief Creative Officer

Michael is an award winning director and a graduate of the prestigious Director’s Guild of America training program. His accolades include Cinequest Film Festival 's Most Attended Film Award (2003), Best New Director (2002) and Cannes Film Festival 's Merill Hartly Award for screenplay (2002). He is a life-long tutor, graduate from the University of Illinois, and a former employee of Ford Motor Company’s marketing division. As Chief Creative Officer, Michael combines his passions for teaching and film to create unrivaled content that engages, entertains, and educates.

Rafe Furst  Chief Technical Officer

Rafe is a successful entrepreneur and business leader, having notably formed Pick’em Sports in 1996 which was sold to a public company in 1999. He has been involved in the formation and operation of several other successful ventures and sits on the Board of Directors of two organizations. He has done cutting-edge research in Automated Software Development at the prestigious Kestrel Institute. An experienced web developer and marketer, Rafe is responsible for online and IT strategy and development. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science and B.S. in Symbolic Systems, both from Stanford University.

Barb Smith  Channel Manager & Financial Analyst

A former partner in one of Canada's pre-eminent national law firms, Barb brings a decade of deal-making experience and a disciplined, results-oriented approach to project management to work for Expert Insight. Her lifelong love of learning and teaching will hold her in good stead as she leads our new EITV educational channel. Barb holds a B.Com (Finance) and LL.B from the University of British Columbia, Canada.

Jon Gunn  Producer

Director, Producer and Editor of the hit film My Date with Drew and Writer, Director, Producer of Mercy Streets, Jon's talents as a filmmaker are rivaled only by his business skills. Jon is President of IndieProducer.net and partner in Lucky Crow Films (My Date With Drew, Perfect Romance). Awards include Best Feature HBO Comedy Arts Festival and NY Gen Art Festival (2004), Telly Award for Commercial Writing/Producing (2003), Movie Guide Award for Ten Best Movies of 2000. Jon produced and edited Expert Insight’s first title Final Table Poker with Phil Gordon. His experience and contacts in feature film production and planning are an invaluable company asset, as is his creative input and vision.
