Expert Insight seeks PR and Communications executive / agency / contractor Expert Insight is an innovative educational media company that connects people with the world’s leading experts through products that are experiential, entertaining, and engaging. We are looking for a media-savvy PR superstar to join our fast growing company.   This person will be a key member of our team and be responsible for development and execution of a strategic plan for communicating all aspects of our business and products to our customers, the media, and the public.  This person will be responsible for: 1)    Corporate-directed PR, 2)    Consumer-based PR, and 3)    Be an integral contributor to our Marketing efforts, materials, and collateral Responsibilities will include:  •    Establish PR goals, objectives, plans, and timelines in alignment with business objectives •    Develop a strong understanding of the competitive marketplace and positively position Company •    Drive PR strategies, tactics, and communications planning targeting consumer, business, industry and trade media •    Develop written materials, including marketing materials, press releases, Q&As, pitch letters, press kits, and sales kits then manage distribution and appropriate follow-up •    Develop ongoing press lists, editorial calendars and press materials •    Facilitate media interviews for both Company and Experts and manage follow-up •    Create and manage newsletter programs for customers, investors, and retailers/affiliates •    Plan and oversee execution of promotional events including press conferences, live seminars, and product screenings *Required* •    PR Experience as part of an agency or in-house •    Demonstratable relationships with the media, including blogs, local and national newspapers, magazines, radio and television •    Self motivated with an optimistic, entrepreneurial, can do attitude as well as the desire to promote the Expert Insight brand. •    Fundamental understanding of how to sell a story to the media and examples demonstrating success •    Knowledge of online marketing with the ability to create and deliver •    Excellent, proven verbal and written communications skills. •    Superior presentation skills with examples of recent results •    Exceptional organizational and project management skills •    A team player and self-starter with a high level of energy and creativity *Desired* •    Experience working with start-ups and/or educational media companies •    Affinity for golf, poker, and blackjack as well as an understanding of their respective industries and key players •    A bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, journalism, or communications To apply:      Please email a cover letter and resume to jobs@expertinsight.com and reference “PR and Communications” in the subject. *About Expert Insight* Expert Insight is an educational media company that connects world-class experts with those seeking knowledge.
