Expert Insight seeks Office Manager / Human Resources Manager Expert Insight is an innovative educational media company that connects people with the world’s leading experts through products that are experiential, entertaining, and engaging. We are looking for a creative, highly organized individual to help hire, run, and manage our San Francisco office.  This person will work with the CEO, President, and others to help run the company and manage the day-to-day operations.  This person will initially perform several key roles then transition into either a traditional office manager, HR / Hiring Manager, or another role that best suits their skills and goals.  Primary responsibilities will be to support the President/CEO in all aspects of running the company, including day-to-day operations & office management, hiring, sales & marketing, helping with the various aspects of our film production, client relations & project management, etc. Responsibilities will include:  •    Create the Office Manager position and manage the SF office •    Manage the Company’s hiring efforts and initially fulfill the company’s Human Resources function •    Perform Customer Support •    Assist with the Accounting and Finance functions •    Function as utility player by assisting Product Managers, Marketing & Sales, and the Film Production teams as necessary *Required* •    2+ years experience in a similar role •    entrepreneurial mindset •    great interpersonal skills •    ability and desire to excel in a dynamic, ambitious environment •    understanding of hiring and human resources •    practical knowledge and application of federal and state employment law •    outstanding computer skills, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint •    experience with basic IT and communcations setup and management, including purchasing and overseeing installation of phones, computer systems, mobile PDA and networks *Desired* •    similar experience in a start-up situation •    experience with QuickBooks To apply:      Please email a cover letter and resume to jobs@expertinsight.com and reference “Office and HR Manager” in the subject. *About Expert Insight* Expert Insight is an educational media company that connects world-class experts with those seeking knowledge.
